Where do I go to add new e-mail addresses and make other changes to my domain? (Domain Control Panel)

1. Go to the following web address (don't forget the https at the beginning) https://82.165.251.141:8443/

2. Enter the name of your domain (ex., mbibe.com or rudyards.com) and the password for the domain admin and click on the Login button

3. You should then see a screen similar to the following:

Which e-mail program can be used?

To read and write e-mail you may use virtually any mail client program, such as
Microsoft Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger or Eudora Light.

You can also use the WebMail System which has MANY cool features. Just type in your domain like this:

http://webail.yourdomain.com

There's so many customizations possible for each user that I won't go into them now but the most important thing that users can do is to Change their E-Mail PASSWORD via the WebMail System!

What is the required information to set up e-mail clients?

To configure an e-mail client you will need the following information.

FOR POP3 PROTOCOL
Server Type: POP3
Incoming Server: pop.yourdomain.com (port 110)
Outgoing Server: smtp.yourdomain.com (port 25 or 587)

Account name/Username: Mailbox Login (Can be found under E-mail, Setup in the Domain Control Panel)
Password: Your E-mail Password

FOR IMAP PROTOCOL
Server Type: IMAP
Incoming Server: imap.yourdomain.com (port 143)
Outgoing Server: smtp.yourdomain.com (port 25 or 587)

Account name/Username: Mailbox Login (Can be found under E-mail, Setup in the Domain Control Panel)
Password: Your E-mail Password

Note: Outgoing server needs to be authenticated with username and password.

 

How do I setup Microsoft Outlook to receive e-mail using IMAP Protocol?

1. Open Microsoft Outlook. Click "Tools" and select "E-mail Accounts"

2. Select "Add a new e-mail account" and click "Next".

3. Choose "IMAP" and click "Next".

4. Enter the information highlighted in green. (User Name: your mailbox login)
Click "More Settings".

5. Select "Outgoing Server" tab then check "My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires
authentication." and choose "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

Click "OK" then "Next" and finally "Finish".
